Learn what tiny house life is like in New Zealand with Ziski Pöschi and Ryan Steven, DIY tiny house dwellers from Auckland, New Zealand (who relocated to Raglan after the show)
Ryan and Ziski are passionate about reducing their environmental impact and living a simpler lifestyle. This led them to design and build a tiny house on wheels, which they have now lived in for over a year with their two dogs and cat.
Their tiny home has to be one of the most stunningly beautiful homes I’ve ever seen, which they built with no previous building experience!
In this conversation, we talk about:
- Some of the struggles they experienced during their tiny build
- How they created and designed their tiny house plans
- Their process to easily find 3 different spaces on luscious NZ land to park their tiny home, how much rent they pay, and why it’s important to build a relationship with your landowner
- We touch on the current situation with tiny house regulations in New Zealand
- What they wish they knew (or listened to) back when they started their tiny build!
- Lots more!
